At Sweat Economy, we want to encourage an active and engaged userbase. Because of this, minting stops for users who don't log into Sweat Wallet at least once every 60 days. This also helps us to limit network congestion on the blockchain we use (NEAR Protocol), making sure it runs smoothly and efficiently.
Inactivity is not the only cause, though. Minting stops for four reasons:
- You haven't opened Sweat Wallet for 60 days or more — log back in and minting resumes.
- You haven't opened the Sweatcoin app in the last 30 days — it validates your steps, so open it at least once every 30 days.
- A security check on your steps is holding your earnings pending a review by the team — this affects users who are active every day, and it needs support.
- Your wallet is no longer connected to Sweatcoin (the near_disabled state) — this is a connection problem, not a pause, and opening both apps does not fix it.
We will always let you know ahead of time by email and push notification if an inactivity pause could happen to you.
The full details for each cause, including what to send support for causes 3 and 4, are in Why Has My $SWEAT Minting Been Paused?
