There is no Empty button on the jar itself. That is why a matured jar looks like it only offers Regrow. Emptying is done for all your completed jars together, from one of two places:
- Grow tab → your jar list → the Completed Jars row → Empty All.
- Top Ups screen → the completed-jars card → the small Empty Jars button underneath the large Regrow button.
Both do the same thing: they move the $SWEAT from your matured jars to your Available balance.
The confirmation step charges a network fee
Emptying is a blockchain transaction, so it costs a fee in $SWEAT — usually around 7–10 $SWEAT, and more when you empty several jars at once. Two things to know about it:
- The fee is paid from your liquid $SWEAT, not from the amount inside the jar.
- A free-transaction benefit covers it when you have one — SWEAT MAX includes free NEAR transactions, and promotions sometimes give them out.
If you see "Top up to pay gas fee" instead of the swipe
That is what appears when your liquid balance is smaller than the fee. Top up a small amount of $SWEAT, or use a free transaction if you have one, then open the screen again and retry.
If every button says "Cancel" and a "Pending transaction" banner never clears
Then an earlier transaction is stuck and is blocking new ones on your account — Empty and Regrow are both unavailable while it sits there. Retrying does not clear it. Contact support so the team can release it, and include your username and roughly when it started.
Before you tap Regrow
Regrow is the app's name for refilling a jar, and it does not just re-lock the one jar you were looking at. It pre-selects your whole matured balance and re-locks it in a new jar, and that new jar can have a long lock-up period. Check the amount and the jar it is about to create before you swipe — once locked, $SWEAT cannot be withdrawn early.
If Empty still fails after all of this, contact support with your username, which of the two Empty entry points you used, and the exact text of any message you saw.
