Why Has My $SWEAT Minting Been Paused?

Last updated on Aug 24, 2026

If your $SWEAT minting has stopped, there are four possible reasons. The first two are about inactivity; the other two are not, and they need different handling.

1. You haven't opened the Sweat Wallet app for 60 days or more

Minting is paused until you log back in. Open Sweat Wallet and minting resumes right away.

2. You haven't opened the Sweatcoin app in the last 30 days

The Sweatcoin app validates your steps, so it must be opened at least once every 30 days to keep minting active. Open it and minting resumes right away.

3. A security check on your steps is holding your earnings

If you are using both apps every day and minting has still stopped, an anti-fraud check on your steps can hold your earnings back pending a review by the team. This is not something you can clear from the app.

Contact support with your username, the email address linked to your account, the dates your minting stopped, and the exact text of any message you saw — that is what the review needs.

4. Your wallet is no longer connected to Sweatcoin ("near_disabled")

If you or the app see the state near_disabled, this is not a security pause. It means your wallet is not connected — or no longer opted in to crypto — on the Sweatcoin side, so there is nothing validating your steps into $SWEAT. Opening both apps does not fix this one.

Go through the connection steps in How does $SWEAT connect to Sweatcoin? to re-connect the wallet to your Sweatcoin account.

What happens to my existing $SWEAT?

It stays safe in every case above. Your existing $SWEAT is not affected by a pause, and minting picks up again once the cause is cleared.

Keeping minting active
