How much $SWEAT can I earn a day?

πŸ’‘ Update : In July 2024, the community voted to change the minting window mechanism. Before 2024, users could earn $SWEAT for every step up to 10,000 per day according to the minting curve. After July 2024, users earn $SWEAT for steps from 3,000-10,000, according to the minting curve. $SWEAT is minted, or earned, from your steps. When you walk, your steps are validated via the Sweatcoin app, and you mint steps according to the plan you are on. Users on the Free Plan earn $SWEAT for every step they take between 3,000 and 10,000 a day. Users will also earn sweatcoins from steps 0-10,000 a day. Users on the Sweatcoin Premium Plan earn $SWEAT for every step from 0 to 20,000 per day β€” there is no 3,000-step warm-up on Premium. Users will also earn sweatcoins from steps 0-20,000 a day. SWEAT MAX subscribers (Sweat Wallet's premium subscription β€” separate from Sweatcoin Premium) also convert steps from 0 to 20,000 per day with no warm-up, roughly doubling what the free tier can earn. SWEAT MAX is live and available in all countries. With both subscriptions active (SWEAT MAX + Sweatcoin Premium), steps from 0 up to 30,000 per day convert to $SWEAT. You can also earn $SWEAT by completing short lessons, using the Spin the Wheel feature, and winning rewards. Why can I only earn $SWEAT after 3,000 steps a day? We’re on a mission to make the world more physically active. To that end, we held a community vote in 2024 where more than 70% of voters chose to change the Minting Window (from 0-5K steps a day to 3K-10K steps a day).

TGE (Token Generation Event) – what it was and what happened to the tokens

What was the TGE? The Token Generation Event (TGE) marked the official launch of $SWEAT on September 12th, 2022. At that moment, the Foundation took a snapshot of users' sweatcoin balances and allocated $SWEAT at a 1:1 ratio β€” one $SWEAT for every sweatcoin held by users who had opted into crypto. Over 5 billion $SWEAT tokens were distributed to more than 13 million users. Sweatcoin balances were not affected. These tokens were locked in a smart contract and set to unlock gradually over 24 months, with the final unlock on September 12th, 2024. What happened to unclaimed TGE tokens? The community voted to burn all unclaimed TGE tokens. Following the vote, approximately 1.5 billion unclaimed $SWEAT were permanently burned and the TGE lockup smart contract was destroyed β€” making any further claims impossible. Can I still claim my TGE tokens? No. The deadline has passed and the smart contract no longer exists. Unclaimed tokens were burned as per the community's decision. How did the burn affect my balance? If you claimed your TGE allocation in time, your balance is unaffected. If you did not claim before the deadline, those tokens were burned and are no longer recoverable. Why was this done? Burning unclaimed tokens reduces the circulating supply, helping to maintain $SWEAT's value and ensuring that only active, engaged users hold the token. What if I missed the deadline? Multiple notifications were sent ahead of the deadline, and a 30-day grace period was provided. Unfortunately, tokens that were not claimed during that period cannot be recovered.
