Social login (Magic Keys) - Frequently Asked Questions

⚠️ Important: social login does NOT recover an existing wallet. If your wallet was never linked to your Apple/Google account, signing in with "Continue with Apple/Google" creates a brand-new, empty wallet. Your old balance is not lost — it stays on your original wallet, which you can open with the link in your most recent "SWEAT wallet backup code" email, with your 12-word secret phrase, or with a social login you previously linked. 1. What is Magic Keys? Magic Keys is a feature that allows you to create a Sweat Wallet account — or log in to one — using social sign-in providers (Apple, Google). 2. Who can use Magic Keys? Everyone. New users can create a wallet with it, and existing users can add Apple or Google sign-in to their current wallet in Profile → Security. Adding it is strongly recommended: it gives you a second way back into your wallet if you ever lose the activation email or seed phrase. 3. How do I create an account using Magic Keys? When signing up for a new account, choose the option to sign in with a social provider (e.g., Apple, Google). Follow the prompts to complete the account creation process. 4. I'm an existing user. How do I add social login to my wallet? Open Sweat Wallet → Profile → Security and add Apple or Google as a login method. After that, "Continue with Apple/Google" on any device opens your existing wallet, not a new one. 5. I created my account with Magic Keys. Why am I not earning $SWEAT? After creating an account with Magic Keys, you need to take an additional step to start earning $SWEAT. You must connect your wallet to your Sweatcoin account: go to the wallet's homepage, find the Earn component, and use the button to connect your wallet to your Sweatcoin account. 6. Can I connect my Magic Keys wallet to any Sweatcoin account? No, you can only connect your wallet to a Sweatcoin account that hasn't opted into crypto yet. 7. I forgot how I created my account. How do I log in? Always use the same method you used to create your account (or a method you later added in Profile → Security). If you used Magic Keys (social sign-in), continue to use that method to log in. If you've lost access to your wallet entirely (e.g. lost your secret phrase), you can reset your wallet and connect a new one directly from the app — see How do I reset my Sweat Wallet? for step-by-step instructions. 8. What if I have trouble connecting my Magic Keys wallet to my Sweatcoin account? Check that your Sweatcoin account doesn't already have a wallet associated with it. If the problem persists, contact our support team for assistance. 9. What should I do if I can't access the social account I used for Magic Keys? If you added another login method (activation email, seed phrase, or a second social provider), use that to get in — then add a new social login in Profile → Security. If you have no other method, you can create a new wallet and reconnect it to your Sweatcoin account directly from the app. See How do I reset my Sweat Wallet? for details. 10. I received an email with my activation, what now? Just double check your email inbox (the email address which is linked to your Sweatcoin account) for the following subject line: "Important: SWEAT wallet backup code ❗Do not delete or share ❗"

I can't locate the email with my activation code!

If you're struggling to locate your activation e-mail, sometimes required to login to the Sweat Wallet app, don't worry! Providing you've opted into crypto from the Sweatcoin app, an email will have been sent to you. Just double check your email inbox (the email address which is linked to your Sweatcoin account) for the following subject line: "Important: SWEAT wallet backup code ❗Do not delete or share ❗" Be sure to check your junk, recently deleted and spam folders as well, in case the email has gone into one of those. Did you create your wallet with Google or Apple sign-in? Then no code was ever sent for it — those wallets have no email-code login path. Sign in with the same Google or Apple account instead; see I'm asked for a 12-word secret phrase I never created, or my phrase isn't accepted. If you really can't find your code anywhere mentioned above, you can reset your Sweat Wallet and connect a new one directly from the app — no need to contact support: 1. Open Sweat Wallet and sign in with your Apple or Google account. This creates a new wallet. 2. In Sweat Wallet, tap Connect to Sweatcoin. 3. The Sweatcoin app will show a connection dialog — tap Connect. 4. You'll see your old wallet and your new wallet listed. Tap Connect new wallet. Your Sweatcoin account is now linked to your new wallet. Please note: tokens from your old wallet will not carry over. Future earnings will go to your new wallet.

I get stuck in an endless loop on the Sweat Economy website

If you're logging in with the email link we sent you and you’re doing any of the following you may get stuck in an endless loop on the Sweat Economy website whilst trying to log in to the Sweat wallet: - Using Samsung, Mi or Opera browsers as your default browser - Opened the link on an in-mail browser (e.g. inside Gmail) - You’re on Android and have “Supported links” disabled by default - You're on iOS using any browser If you run into this, it's easy to fix! I’m using Samsung or Opera browsers, or an in-mail browser: 1. Go back to the email (subject line contains "SWEAT wallet backup code") 2. Find "Log into your Sweat wallet" at the bottom 3. Long tap the link and click "Copy URL" 4. Now just open the link on another browser (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.) I have “Supported links” disabled by default: 1. Go to “Settings” on your phone 2. Open “Apps” 3. Search for and open “Sweat Wallet” 4. Scroll down and click on “Open by default” 5. Enable “Open supported links” 6. Under “Links to open in this app” add “wallet.sweateconomy.com” 7. Reload your Sweat Wallet and log-in I'm on iOS and I'm using any browser 1. Try the same steps as for Opera & Samsung browsers (long-press the link, Copy URL, paste into Safari or Chrome) 2. Also try clicking the three dots at the top right of the screen > "Open in Chrome" > tap the login button The app opens and even finds my wallet, but I still end up back at the login screen If the Sweat Wallet app itself opens (or shows "Found your wallet") and then loops back without logging you in, the browser workarounds above will not help — this is a different problem. Update Sweat Wallet to the latest version first: a fix for login issues of this kind shipped in a recent release, and most users are resolved by simply updating and retrying the link. If you've updated and tried all of the above and you still can't log in, stop repeating the steps — it needs our support team. Contact support with your device model, OS version, app version, and a screenshot of where the login stops.

I’m trying to log in but I get an error: "Account not found (network is mainnet)"

If you’re trying to login with Sweatcoin or an activation email and you’re getting this error, then you may have received multiple emails from us. If you run into this, it's easy to fix! 1. Make sure you're on the latest version of the Sweatcoin app. - iPhone - Update from AppStore - Android - Update from PlayStore 2. Search for "Important: SWEAT wallet backup code ❗Do not delete or share ❗" in your inbox. They were sent from users@sweatco.in 3. If you only see one activation email look inside it as they may be grouped together. 4. Select the most recent activation email and clink on the "Log into your Sweat wallet" link at the bottom 5. We've also seem some users who had this issue because they entered the incorrect seed phrase to log into their Wallet. Note, if you changed your seed phrase within the Sweat Wallet, this updated phrase and only this phrase will be valid to log you in, as it's the most recent. Make sure you're using the most up to date seed phrase to access your wallet at all times If you've lost access to your wallet entirely (e.g. lost your seed phrase), you can reset your wallet and connect a new one directly from the app — see How do I reset my Sweat Wallet? for instructions. If this still doesn't work, contact support with your phone make and model, your OS version, the Sweatcoin email linked to your account, and the exact error text you see.

Can support recover my wallet or resend my activation email?

The short, honest answer: no. Sweat Wallet is non-custodial — your keys exist only in your backup-code email and your 12-word seed phrase. We never store a copy, so support cannot recover your wallet, verify you by email or ID to restore access, or manually resend the backup email. (The app itself may issue the email more than once — for example around resets or key changes — which is why only the newest copy works; but there is no way for support to trigger a new one for you.) Before giving up, check all of these: 1. Find the newest backup email. Search every mailbox you might have used for the subject "Important: SWEAT wallet backup code ❗Do not delete or share ❗" — including Spam, Junk, and Trash. Email apps often group all copies into one thread; only the link in the most recent message works. 2. Your seed phrase. If you ever saved the 12-word secret phrase, log in with "I already have an account" → secret phrase. If you changed the phrase in-app, only the newest version works. 3. A previously linked social login. If you added Apple/Google sign-in to your wallet (Profile → Security), that opens your existing wallet from any device. 4. An old device. If any device still has the wallet logged in, open it and back up your secret phrase now (Profile → Security), or transfer your funds out before doing anything else. Does the activation link expire? No — but it is invalidated if a newer backup email was ever generated, or if you changed your seed phrase in the app. That's why only the newest email works. If all of that fails If the backup email and the seed phrase are both genuinely lost, the wallet and the tokens on it cannot be accessed by anyone — including our team. The only way forward is to reset: sign in with Apple or Google to create a new wallet and reconnect it to your Sweatcoin account (see "How do I reset my Sweat Wallet?"). Your future steps will mint into the new wallet and your Sweatcoin balance is unaffected, but the old wallet's balance cannot be moved. To avoid this ever happening again: back up your 12-word phrase somewhere safe, and add a social login in Profile → Security as a second way in.

Logging in to Sweat Wallet on a new phone

Switched phones? Your wallet and tokens live on the blockchain, not on the old device — you just need to log back in. Try these in order: 1. Your backup-code email (most common path) 1. On the new phone, find the email with subject "Important: SWEAT wallet backup code ❗Do not delete or share ❗". Check Spam/Junk/Trash, and expand grouped threads — only the most recent copy works. 2. Long-press "Log into your Sweat wallet" → Copy URL → paste into Chrome or Safari (not the in-mail browser). 3. On Android, if the link doesn't open the app: Settings → Apps → Sweat Wallet → Open by default → enable "Open supported links". 2. Your 12-word secret phrase If you saved your secret phrase, open Sweat Wallet → "I already have an account" → log in with the secret phrase. If you ever changed the phrase in-app, use the newest version. 3. A linked social login If you previously added Apple or Google sign-in to your wallet (Profile → Security), just tap "Continue with Apple/Google" — it opens your existing wallet. Careful: if your wallet was never linked to that social account, this creates a brand-new empty wallet instead — your old balance is still on the old wallet, so use methods 1 or 2 to reach it. 4. Last resort: reset If you have none of the above, see "Can support recover my wallet or resend my activation email?" — a reset creates a new wallet; the old balance cannot be moved. After logging in: fix step tracking on the new phone Steps are tracked by the Sweatcoin app, so on the new device: grant the Physical Activity / Motion & Fitness permission, allow background activity (disable battery optimization for Sweatcoin), and open both apps once so minting resumes. Once you're in, back up your secret phrase and add a social login in Profile → Security so the next phone switch takes seconds.

I'm asked for a 12-word secret phrase I never created, or my phrase isn't accepted

If you created your wallet with "Continue with Google" or "Continue with Apple", you never had a 12-word secret phrase. Wallets created that way have no phrase to type in, so the secret-phrase screen is the wrong way in for you. Sign in with the same Google or Apple account you created the wallet with instead. Take care here: signing in with a different social account does not open your wallet — it creates a new, empty one. See Social login (Magic Keys) - Frequently Asked Questions. "Please enter a valid 12-word secret phrase" This is a format check on what you typed, not a check of whether the words are right. The app counts words separated by single spaces. It fires when the text shape is wrong: - the phrase was pasted with line breaks or numbering (the app shows the phrase in a numbered grid, so a hand-copied version usually carries those over) - there are double spaces between words - it is a 24-word phrase from another wallet Retype it as 12 words, separated by single spaces, on one line. "Secret phrase is incorrect or was not found" This one comes back from the server: the phrase itself was rejected. Either the words are not the ones for this account, or the phrase has been replaced. If you ever changed your secret phrase inside Sweat Wallet, only the newest phrase works — every earlier one stops working from that moment. I'm waiting for an email verification code that never arrives If your wallet was created with Google or Apple sign-in, there is no email-code login path for it, so no code will ever arrive. Use Continue with Google/Apple with the original account. Safety Your secret phrase is entered only inside the official Sweat Wallet app. Support will never ask you for it. Never type it into a chat, an email, or any website — anyone who has it has your funds. If none of the above gets you in, contact support with the exact error text you see, the sign-in method you used when you created the wallet, and your phone model and OS version.
